Siemens PLC & SCADA Engineer (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team at our location in Krsko, Slovenia (hybrid), we are currently looking for a:

Siemens PLC & SCADA Engineer (m/f/d) - Full-Time, Permanent –

Your Mission:

Siemens PLC Expertise
- Proven experience programming and maintaining Siemens S7 PLCs (Step 7, TIA Portal).
- Strong command of programming languages (Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text).
- Ability to design, modify, and troubleshoot PLC code for automation systems.
SCADA Systems (WinCC)
- Hands-on experience with Siemens WinCC SCADA for system design, configuration, and commissioning.
- Ability to build user-friendly HMI/SCADA interfaces, alarms, reports, and real-time data visualization.
- Integration of WinCC with PLCs, industrial networks, and third-party systems.
Electrical Cabinet Knowledge
- Solid understanding of electrical cabinet design, wiring, and component selection.
- Familiar with standards for low-voltage switchgear, circuit protection, and control panels.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in industrial automation, specifically with Siemens PLCs and WinCC SCADA systems.
Background in design, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation projects in industrial environments (manufacturing, process industries, or similar).

Additional Knowledge (Preferred)

Industrial communication protocols: Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP.
Understanding of safety systems (SIL/Performance Levels) and IEC 61131-3 standards.
Experience in commissioning on-site and supporting integration with multidisciplinary teams.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability in high-pressure environments.
Good communication skills for collaboration with project teams, electricians, and end-users.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
